About Namaste Children's Fund

Namaste Children’s Fund is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting the underserved communities of Nepal as efficiently as possible. NCF believes that education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering individuals to improve socioeconomic conditions for their families, communities and future generations.

NCF Philosophy

NCF projects are developed based on the following principles:

* Focus on projects that can be sustainable and lead to independence over time.

* Community involvement in projects and a commitment of resources from the community is critical to a successful outcome.

* NCF will work within the ethnic, cultural and religious beliefs of the community. Our aim is to enhance the native culture and traditional values.

* We see education as a key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our particular emphasis is on offering education to the most disadvantaged children, especially girls.

* Help the women in disadvantaged communities develop skills allowing them to support themselves and their families.

* Projects will be systematically developed and supported over time.
